Minurphy builds covers for anything worth keeping protected. Bakkies, trailers, trucks, boats, generators, jacuzzis, canopies, golf carts, and swimming pools. Canvas where it needs to breathe, PVC where it needs to be waterproof, and a hybrid where both matter. Every cover is cut and stitched to the specific asset, not a generic "medium" or "large" shape that flaps in the wind.
What we cover

Canvas is the right choice for anything that lives outdoors but needs to dry out: bakkies, boats, jacuzzis, canopies. PVC is the right choice for fully exposed loads where breathability does not matter: tarpaulins over hay, KOI vats, banner finishing, industrial covers. Hybrids are for the boats and vehicles that need both.
Breathable is the whole point
A PVC tarp on a bakkie traps moisture. Water runs off, but humidity inside builds up, and two weeks later the bakkie is full of mildew and the dashboard has split. Canvas solves it. Vapour moves through the fabric, water cannot.
For boats, it is even more important. A damp console rusts electronics and rots the upholstery. Canvas with proper vents extends the life of the interior by years.
Custom fit, not generic
Most "universal" covers flap in wind and scratch paintwork. Ours are cut to shape, with reinforced corners and elastic hems where they matter. We have templates for Hilux, Ranger, Amarok, Land Cruiser 70 Series, D-Max, and most common trailers. For anything else, measure it or bring it in.
A kitted 4x4 with a roof rack and aerial needs cutouts, zips, and storm patches. Send photos, we design around them.
Colours and weight
420 gsm canvas is our standard for bakkie and trailer covers. 540 gsm for boats exposed to permanent mooring. 680 gsm for industrial or long-term outdoor. Colours are olive, navy, black, grey, and custom-dyed for brand fleets.
Reinforced where it matters
Corners get double-layer patches. Wheel arches get storm skirts. Attachment points get webbing straps, not just rope loops. Where a cover flaps under wind, we reinforce. The result is a cover that holds shape for years, not a season.
