The detail

Minurphy is the behind-the-scenes finishing partner for print shops and signage companies across KZN and inland SA. We eyelet, heat seal, weld, and stitch the banners your press prints, so you do not need a dedicated finishing line in-house.

Who we work with

Small print shops with a single wide-format printer, mid-size signage companies that run multiple shifts, and national outdoor advertising operators who need finishing at scale. Same service, same per-metre rate, same 24 to 72 hour turnaround.

What we finish

  • Eyelets — brass or nickel, 10 to 16 mm, any spacing (500 mm standard)
  • Heat sealing — RF and hot-air welded hems on any PVC banner up to 5 m wide
  • Weld-on webbing — reinforcement for high-wind or high-tension installs
  • Stitching — double-needle stitch on fabric banners and heavy canvas
  • Chonking — edge finishing and corner reinforcement
  • Pole and sleeve pockets — top, bottom, sleeve, zipped, Velcro
  • Edge tape and trim — for fabric banners and display graphics

Priced per metre, no minimum

A 2 m by 1 m banner gets the same rate per metre as a 100-metre bulk job. No setup fees, no minimum order, no surcharge for small runs. We bill per completed linear metre of finish and courier it back.

Turnaround for event jobs

Rush banners for an event Friday? Drop by Tuesday, collect Thursday. For bigger jobs or multi-banner runs we schedule ahead. We run after-hours on request for urgent event production.

Collection and dispatch

Free collection from any printer in greater Durban. Outside KZN, courier in and we return within the same 24 to 72 hour window, plus courier time.

For regular print partners, we set up monthly billing, dedicated turnaround slots, and a direct factory contact.
