Custom is half of what we do. If you can describe what you need, sketch it on the back of a delivery note, or photograph the thing it has to fit, we will probably build it. Thirty years of cutting, welding, stitching, and eyeletting has put almost every PVC, canvas, foam, and webbing project across our factory floor at some point.
What "custom" actually means
It means there is no catalogue. You tell us what you need (in words, a photo, a voice note, a sketch on a delivery slip) and we work out how to build it. The constraint is the material and the method: PVC, canvas, foam, webbing, mesh, shade-net. The technique is welding, stitching, or eyeletting. Inside those boundaries, we say yes a lot.
Examples we have actually built
To give a sense of range:
- Foot sponge mats for farm and food-processing entrances: foam core, PVC tarp skin, filled with disinfectant.
- Welding curtains in heavy PVC, fitted with eyelets for hanging in welding bays to protect adjacent work areas from flash and spatter.
- Waterproofing membranes for irregular spaces, custom-cut PVC welded into single sheets.
- Drone, kit, and equipment carry bags in heavy canvas or PVC with reinforced seams.
- Mortuary covers and body bags in food-grade PVC with welded seams.
- Art-storage envelopes for museums and private collectors, food-grade PVC, climate-stable seams.
- Kiln aprons for ceramicists and metal-workers, heavy canvas with double-stitched seams.
- Dock fenders, race-track barrier sleeves, sail repairs, brand-event blackouts, paragliding line bags, and many others.
If you do not see what you want listed, that is normal. Ask.
How to brief a custom job
- WhatsApp 083 631 5329 with a photo, sketch, or voice note.
- Include rough dimensions (width, length, depth, key constraints).
- Tell us the use case in one or two sentences (what it has to do, where it lives, who handles it).
- We come back within 24 hours with a written spec, price, and lead time.
You do not need to know what material or construction method is right. That is our job. Brief the problem; we propose the solution.
On-site measuring
For complex covers (custom vehicles, jacuzzis, kayaks, oddly-shaped patios), we drive out for on-site measuring in greater Durban. Outside Durban, send photos with a tape measure or known-size reference in frame.
Pattern storage
Once we have built something for you, the pattern stays on file. Re-orders run faster and cheaper than the first build. Patterns are kept indefinitely as long as we trade with you.
Pricing
Quoted on the spec, within 24 hours of receiving your brief. One-off bespoke pieces cost more per unit than a small batch (setup time is the same either way). Volume discounts apply on orders of 10+ identical items.
